The House of Making translates craftsmanship into a place that visitors can enter and understand. Its source is a leather ribbon: a continuous element folds into a canopy, a workshop threshold and a gallery surface. Material skill becomes the identity, rather than branding applied to a conventional showroom. A visible atelier is the centre of the experience. Visitors encounter tools, watch skilled hands and join carefully scoped introductory sessions. An archive alcove offers a quieter account of material and technique; a salon gives space for conversation. Leather, oak, brass and chalk plaster carry warmth and precision across those chapters. The spatial story remains clear even when no demonstration is taking place. Cadimore would shape the brand-to-place proposition, visitor narrative, service encounters and programme standards. Brand and craft specialists would establish appropriate content, participation and material choices. Small workshops and changing commissions would create reasons for repeat visits while preserving a composed atmosphere. The proposed value lies in a deeper understanding of making: visitors leave with a story they experienced, rather than only a product they saw.
The visitor journey

An atelier makes skilled work visible and offers small guided encounters. A lower ribbon edge leads toward tactile samples and the archive alcove.
A quiet salon lets visitors reflect and discuss what they discovered. The return passes the workshop with a richer understanding of the material.
