The Everyday Festival repositions a mall atrium as a social market garden. Its source is a woven basket: strands gather separate ingredients into a useful whole. A brass-and-timber canopy expresses that idea while organising artisan stalls, food encounters and generous communal seating around a central public living room. Retail edges remain clear and commercially useful. The market offers discovery; the chef’s table gives visitors a reason to pause; planted seats allow an unhurried visit without a purchase. Overlooking terraces connect levels to the activity below. Daylight and carefully maintained greenery make the atrium welcoming during ordinary operation, with evening programming adding a different pace. Cadimore would shape positioning, tenant and partnership principles, the experience calendar and the relationship between public space and trading. Local makers could rotate within curated standards, while seasonal food and craft programmes refresh the offer. The concept seeks to increase the relevance of a visit, with dwell time, repeat use, tenant participation and commercial performance evaluated together.
The visitor journey

Food preparation and conversation make the centre a destination in its own right. Planting and low seating create a quieter pocket beyond the active market.
Visitors can rest, meet and look up toward the connected terraces. Multiple exits return to the retail ring without forcing a single shopping route.
