Nomadic Voyage Pavilion
Concept design · Cadimore
Summary
A pavilion of stacked trunk-like forms turns the language of luggage into an exhibition about departure and discovery.
The Brief
Make travel legible through objects and movement rather than destination imagery alone. The display needs a strong entrance and a clear route to close inspection.
The Inspiration
A trunk is both a container and a record of journeys. Its corners, proportions and repeated modules offer an architectural language that remains connected to the object.
The Concept
Stacked bronze-toned volumes form a broad arch, while lower cases become display islands. The oversized entrance establishes the travel metaphor; the smaller objects retain the detail needed for exhibition viewing.
The Experience
Visitors cross the arch and move among cases arranged at different heights. The journey narrows from the architectural scale of the trunk language to the construction and character of individual pieces.
The Outcome
The pavilion turns a product family into a navigable story. A clear threshold gives the exhibition presence, while the display sequence maintains attention on the objects that inspired it.
