Private & VIP Experiences / Project story
Collector's Salon
Concept design · Cadimore
Summary
A private collector’s salon brings art and jewellery into a domestic-scale setting for close presentation.
The Brief
Support informed looking rather than rapid browsing. Objects need clear presentation, nearby seating and a setting that leaves room for discreet discussion.
The Inspiration
Collecting involves comparison, context and personal judgement. The salon places those slower acts ahead of the visual language of a conventional exhibition hall.
The Concept
A sculptural centre sits among low furniture and individual display cases. Warm metal, stone and an open skyline view establish atmosphere while keeping object lighting concentrated.
The Experience
Guests move between artworks and jewellery, then sit for a closer presentation or conversation. The room allows an object to be approached from more than one viewpoint before attention shifts to another piece.
The Outcome
The salon gives the act of collecting an appropriate pace. Its intimacy supports attention to provenance, detail and personal response without turning the setting into a crowded display.
