The Circle We Renew
Concept design · Cadimore
Summary
A golden bracelet becomes an open ring for crossing, sitting and meeting, giving a personal emblem of commitment a generous place in public life.
The Brief
The bracelet offers a powerful image of attachment, but a public place needs openness. The brief resolves that tension by treating the ring as a threshold and a gathering edge, allowing people to enter, cross or stay.
The Inspiration
The bracelet suggests a bond that is chosen and sustained. Its uninterrupted curve and screw details offer two expressions of that idea: continuity at the scale of the whole, and care through small repeated gestures.
The Concept
An open golden ring frames the plaza and the people within it. The lower arc broadens into seating, while familiar fastening details bring a tactile rhythm to the surface. The circle becomes complete through the presence of its visitors.
The Experience
People cross through the ring, meet beneath the opening or settle along its lower curve. Small captured turning elements sit at the edge, bringing the idea of renewal within reach without making participation a condition of enjoying the space.
The Outcome
A personal emblem becomes a generous frame for public life. The ring brings passage, seating and participation into one continuous gesture, giving commitment a spatial expression through the simple act of making room for others.
