Prismatic Gateway
Coloured translucent planes make a gateway whose appearance changes with every crossing.
The Brief
Create an entrance that signals arrival while keeping the setting visible beyond it. The installation’s interest should come from changing perception, not from obstructing the route.
The Inspiration
A prism separates light into different readings of the same source. Here that idea becomes a passage in which the visitor’s position continually recomposes colour.
The Concept
Tall panels overlap in green, rose and amber. Their differing orientations create an irregular sequence of openings; reflected colour extends the composition across the polished ground.

The Experience
Visitors approach a clear silhouette, then walk between the planes. Views of palms, water and other people shift through coloured layers, giving each crossing a different visual rhythm.
The Outcome
The gateway turns arrival into an active visual experience. Its identity remains clear from afar, while the changing overlaps reward movement through the installation.
