Garden of Light
A botanical light garden connects faceted floral displays, curved public shelters and a performance about growth.
The Brief
Give botanical imagery several levels of discovery. The installation should be recognisable from the approach, rewarding at close range and comfortable as a place to spend time.
The Inspiration
Growth gathers many small parts into a larger living structure. The project uses that relationship between detail and whole to organise its light, planting and movement.
The Concept
Golden faceted frames hold illuminated botanical forms. In the landscape, branching shelters connect planted pockets and small gathering courts; the performance carries growth through upward gestures and widening ensemble arrangements.
An opposite view shows illuminated botanical arrangements fill three hexagonal frames, with a central scent display and warm material cabinets nearby.
The Experience
Visitors move from the faceted centre toward the planted routes, discovering different degrees of enclosure. The live sequence builds from a small initiating gesture into a layered field of bodies and light.
The Outcome
The garden turns botanical detail into a spatial system that can be read at several distances. Its light establishes an evening identity, while the planted shelters support the slower experience of exploring and resting.
Guests examine scent and botanical samples at the counter, with the illuminated hexagonal flower displays behind them.
