A Bouquet Held in Air
A perfume bottle opens into an inhabitable bouquet of translucent petals, turning an intimate vessel into a public landmark of amber and rose light.
The Brief
A perfume landmark has to hold attention at two scales: a clear silhouette across the plaza and an intimate encounter within. The brief brings those demands together without turning the visitor experience into an enlarged product display.
Visitors enter between the lower petals, pause in folded seats and look through successive layers of colour.
The Inspiration
A perfume bottle preserves something that is experienced through the air. That relationship between a precise container and an elusive impression inspires a composition in which a familiar outline holds colour, delicacy and the suggestion of a bouquet.
The clear bottle silhouette opens into an amber and rose field of translucent petals.
The Concept
The clear bottle silhouette opens into an amber and rose field of translucent petals. Its faceted cap anchors the identity from afar, while overlapping floral surfaces create an interior whose appearance changes with the visitor’s position.
An elevated view reveals the complete arrangement of the landmark, its seating and the routes around it.
The Experience
Visitors enter between the lower petals, pause in folded seats and look through successive layers of colour. A light interaction offers a small personal encounter within the larger gathering place, allowing quiet observation and participation to coexist.
A visitor adjusts a glowing element among the amber and rose petals, bringing a small personal interaction into the larger bottle-shaped landmark.
The Outcome
A familiar perfume vessel becomes a landmark of colour, light and shared memory. Its clear silhouette draws attention from afar, while the petal-filled interior brings visitors into a closer, more intimate encounter with the installation.
The reverse view reveals the same structure’s layered edges, material surfaces and relationship to its setting.
